St Francis & St Clare Catholic MAC is passionate about providing excellent Catholic education and engaging meaningfully with the communities of Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire; we are committed to a belief in the power of young people and staff to make a difference to the world in which we live and that every individual deserves the best education.
Our Catholic Multi Academy Company (MAC) was formed in September 2019 and has created a family of 2 secondary schools and 10 primary schools; also providing nursery and sixth form education. Our 12 schools collaborate and innovate to achieve excellence through high expectations, a trust-wide strategic approach to school improvement and national partnerships, and improving opportunities for our young people, staff and communities.
St Francis and St Clare Catholic Multi Academy Company’s motto is designed to inspire our communities to follow the Catholic values of our saints and to ‘Follow the Light of Christ’ finding:

St Francis & St Clare Catholic MAC are excited to be working with colleagues to fulfil the Archdiocese of Birmingham’s vision to establish a new Catholic Multi Academy Trust (CMAT) that will flourish through the alignment of the efforts, resources, skills and knowledge of 6 multi-academy companies (MACs) and 7 voluntarily aided schools.
By working together, we will create a seamless, authentic and strong Catholic educational experience that is enjoyed by every child. The aim is for the organisation to open on 1st September, 2025.
